BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's volleyball team improved to 3-2 in conference play with a 3-1 victory over Union County College on Tuesday night.
The Spartans dropped game one 18-25 and then rattled off three convincing wins; 25-12, 25-16, 25-15 to earn the victory.
"That was by far the most intense and focused I have seen this team," responded Head Coach Missy Lynn, "after game one they really played well together and played to win."
Amanda Lynch recorded 23 assists, 5 aces, 5 kills and 7 digs and
Courtney Rice added 16 digs and 7 kills.
Overall the Spartans recorded 14 team aces.
NCC, now 4-9 overall (3-2 Region XIX), travels to conference leader Atlantic Cape Community College on October 6th.
