MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Freshman Kyrsten Rockovits improved to 3-0 on the year, shutting out Alfred State College (NY) on Wednesday afternoon at the Snowbird Classic.

Kate Check was 2 for 4, Julianne Wildrick was 2 for 4 and Jennifer Denaro was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI as Northampton improved to 5-2 on the season.

The Spartans will face Region XIX foes Brookdale Community College (NJ) and Cumberland County College (NJ) on Thursday, before returning home.
