MYRTLE BEACH, SC - 5th ranked Brookdale Community College (NJ) used a 5-run 5th inning to break open a 0-0 tie and defeat NCC, 5-0, on Thursday morning at the Snowbird Classic.

Monica Koch had the only hit of the day for NCC, which falls to 5-3 with the loss.

Lindsay Frontino took the loss on the mound for the Spartans.

NCC's game with Cumberland County College, scheduled for later on Thursday, has been cancelled.
