BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 9th ranked NCC Spartan Softball team improved to 11-3 on the season with a sweep of Sussex County Community College on Thursday afternoon.

Gina Falco was 2 for 3 with a double and Kate Check added two doubles and a RBI as the Spartans took game one, 2-1.  

Lindsay Frontino (2-1) earned the victory, going the distance, allowing one run while striking out three and walking two.

In game two, Tiffany Kobordo returned to the lineup with a bang, drilling a triple in the second inning.  Falco added 2 RBI to pace NCC.

Krysten Rockovits (5-0) earned the victory on the mound, allowing just one unearned run, as the Spartans prevailed 5-1.

NCC (6-0 in Region XIX play) hosts #2 Brookdale Community College on Saturday at noon in a Region XIX rematch of last year's championship game.
