BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC Softball team (21-5) jumped two spots to 7th in the latest national poll released by the NJCAA on April 14th.

The Spartans, who are currently tied for second in Region XIX with a 14-2 record, travel to Bergen County College on Saturday and then host first place Gloucester County College on Sunday.

"This is a huge weekend for us," commented Head Coach Sam Carrodo, who won his 300th career game on Tuesday at Cumberland, "we really control our own destiny in terms of seeding for the regional playoffs.  We need to have a playoff mentality this weekend."

The #7 ranking ties the highest ranking in program history, as the Spartans earned a #7 ranking in April of 2009 as well.
