BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to the County College of Morris on Saturday, 3-1, taking game one 25-23 and then losing the next three games; 12-25, 22-25, 19-25.
Emily Canfield had 6 kills and 2 blocks and
Courtney Rice added 4 kills and 9 digs to lead the Spartans.
"We started much better today," remarked Assistant Coach Jackie Sampson, "we just didn't sustain the momentum from game one throughout the match."
The loss drops NCC to 2-8 overall (1-2 in Region XIX).
The Spartans host Passaic County Community College on September 27th at 7:00pm.
