BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's volleyball team earned their second Region XIX victory of the season on Monday night, defeating Passaic County Community College; 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17.

"We were finally able to win some of the close games," remarked Assistant Coach Jackie Sampson, "typically those are the type of games we have been losing, but tonight the girls stay focused and fought through adversity to win the tough points."

Emily Canfield had 10 kills and 2 blocks and sophomore Amanda Lynch added 20 assists, 5 aces and 6 digs.

NCC improves to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in Region XIX with the victory.

The Spartans travel to Scranton, PA on Saturday to face Lackawanna College at 12:00pm.
