MAYS LANDING, NJ - The Northampton women's volleyball team improved to 14-0 overall with a 3-0 sweep (2517, 25-3, 25-9) of Atlantic Cape Community College on Saturday afternoon.

Kelly Yagerhofer recorded 15 aces and Sabrina Gonzalez had 6 digs as the Spartans improved their Region XIX record to 11-0.

"This was a big win for us," stated Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "I was worried the girls would be thinking about our matchup on Monday with Montgomery and possibly overlook this match ... but they came out and played great volleyball."

Shanna Hoben added 3 kills, 2 aces and 1 dig and Emily Canfield had 3 kills and 1 block.

The Spartans host a tri-match on Monday October 17th with Montgomery and County College of Morris.  NCC will face Montgomery at 6pm, followed by Montgomery and Morris and then Morris vs. NCC.

Atlantic Cape falls to 4-8 in Region XIX and 4-9 overall.
