BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC softball improved to 10-0 at home with a sweep of Middlesex County College on Wednesday afternoon. 

In game one, Morgan Neel (2 for 4, 4 RBI) hit a 3-run homerun in the 1st inning to give the Spartans an early lead and pitcher Emily Perruso allowed 7 hits in earning the complete game victory on the mound.

Jen Denaro, Jackie Gates and Ashley Venturino each went 2 for 3.

The Spartans completed the sweep with an 8-3 victory in game two as Neel and Venturino each hit homeruns and Beth Ronalds finished 2 for 3.

Perrruso struck out 4 in earning her 10th victory of the season.

The Spartans improve to 12-6 overall and 10-6 in the Region.

Middlesex falls to 13-11 overall and 9-5 in the Region.

The Spartans travel to nationally-ranked Sussex County Community College on Saturday.
