TOMS RIVER, NJ - The Northampton softball team has been awarded the #3 seed for the upcoming Region XIX playoffs.  The Spartans finished with an overall record of 22-11 and a league record of 16-4.

NCC will host 6th seeded Bergen Community College in a best of three series which will take place on Saturday April 28th and Sunday April 29th (if necessary).  The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at Northampton, beginning at 11am.  If the teams split the two games, there will be a third and deciding game at Northampton on Sunday.

The winner of the first round series will advance to the Region Final Four on May 5th and 6th at Northampton.

NCC is 40-20 overall and 29-11 in Region XIX under second year coach Tony Cocca.
