BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team improved to 10-0 on the season with a sweep of conference foe Lehigh Carbon Community College on Monday night at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
Anna Domyan recorded 10 kills and 4 aces and
Barbara Dimon and
Meghan Granite each had 9 kills as the Spartans cruised in straight sets; 25-8, 25-6, 25-8.
"The focus now turns to Thursday night," commented Head Coach
Adrian Yaguez refering to NCC's rematch with Montgomery County Community College, "we need to have a couple solid nights of preparation, get everyone healthy and just go play our game. MontCo tested us here, I'm excited to see how we handle the environment of a big match on the road."
Lindsey Kizer registered 4 digs and
Ashley McCauley had 29 assists for the Spartans.
Northampton improves to 10-0 overall, 9-0 in Region XIX and 10-0 in Conference play.
Lehigh-Carbon falls to 3-8 overall and 1-6 in Conference.
The Spartans travel to Blue Bell, PA on Thursday to face the Montgomery County College Mustangs at 7pm.
