COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - The Northampton volleyball team is ranked 8th in the latest NJCAA Division III national poll, released Wednesday by the national office.

Northampton, now 5-0 after a victory on Tuesday night at Lehigh Carbon Community College, moved up to 8th after receiving votes in the initial poll of the season.  This past week, the Spartans went 4-0, including knocking off previous #10, Fashion Institute of Technology (NY).

The move to 8th marks the highest-ever ranking for Northampton Volleyball, which finished last season ranked 9th after their 22-1 campaign.

Northampton returns to action on Thursday night when they host Division II County College of Morris at 7pm in the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
