NEWTOWN, Pa. - Northampton Community College improved to 10-0 with a sweep of conference foe Bucks County Community College on Wednesday night, 25-5, 25-7, 25-3.
"The girls played with a purpose tonight," commented Head Coach
Adrian Yaguez, "I think they had a little chip on the shoulder when they found out we dropped from 8th to 9th in the national rankings, even though we went 4-0 last week. I'm glad it bothers them, but the bottom line is that we need to continue play focused volleyball and win matches and the rest will take care of itself."
Lindsey Kizer (Nazareth) had 7 digs,
Emily Koehler (Northampton) notched 10 kills and
Ashley McCauley recorded 27 assists to lead NCC.
Northampton hosts Montgomery County Community College and Lackawanna College this Saturday in a tri-match at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center starting at 11:00am.
