BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton Volleyball enters the 2013 campaign with high expectations, coming off a 22-1 campaign, which saw them capture the EPAC and Region XIX championships.

EPAC and Region XIX Coach of the Year Adrian Yaguez, returns 4 starters from last year's squad; Anna Domyan, Ashley McCauley, Lindsey Kizer and Barbara Dimon.

Domyan, who was named First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference, was also tabbed as the Region XIX Tournament MVP.  McCauley earned First Team All-Region and All-Conference accolades, while Dimon was named to the Region XIX All-Tournament team. Kizer, a graduate of Nazareth High School, was the team's libero and led the squad defensively.

"We definitely return a ton of firepower," echoed Yaguez, "in addition, I am really excited about our incoming class of freshmen.  Obviously, replacing Kelly (Yagerhofer) and Meghan (Granite) won't be easy .... Kelly was the Region and Conference Player of the Year and Meghan was just such a tremendous leader ... she really brought emotion and fire to the court."

Northampton, which received votes in the first NJCAA national poll of the year, will open the 2013 campaign on Wednesday September 4th at Montgomery County Community College and then will host Division II Harcum College on Thursday at 6pm.
