Women's Soccer Falls on the Road to Bergen

PARAMUS, NJ - Ava Oliver scored 31 seconds into the game to give Bergen Community College a 1-0 lead and the Bulldogs cruised to an 8-1 victory over Northampton on Tuesday afternoon.

Stephanie Gerard and Julia Ulczak added early tallies as well to put Bergen up 3-0, before Leyna Motyka scored for Northampton to make it 3-1 at halftime.

The Bulldogs added 5 second half goals to make the final margin 8-1, as they outshot the Spartans 25 to 2.  Alexa Korinchak made 10 saves for Northampton.

Northampton, which falls to 3-7-0 with the loss, hosts Sussex County Community College on Thursday the 16th at 3:30pm in their final contest of the season.

Bergen improves to 6-5-0 with the win.
