Volleyball Sweeps Home Tri-Match to Improve to 25-0

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team swept their home tri-match on Saturday, downing undefeated Ocean County College 25-15, 25-9, 25-13 and Division II Harcum College 25-14, 25-8, 25-14.

In Northampton's first match vs. Ocean County College, Emily Koehler had 18 kills, Jax Babezki added 10 kills and Leah Redline recorded 10 digs as the Spartans improved to 24-0. Anona Bauman added 28 assists, 4 aces and 3 digs. Ocean fell to 12-1 with the loss.

Koehler and Babezki combined for 30 kills in Northampton's second match vs. Harcum, while Olivia Bobyak added 9 kills, 4 aces and 6 digs. Sawyer Hoyak had 8 digs, Anona Bauman notched 36 assists and Heather Kobrzynski had 7 digs as the Spartans improved to 25-0. Harcum fell to 13-4 with the loss.

Ocean rebounded from their first loss of the season to defeat Harcum, 3-0, in the third match of the tri-match.

Northampton, ranked 6th in the latest NJCAA poll, returns to action on Tuesday night when they host Manor College at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center at 7pm.
