ARNOLD, Md - The Northampton women's softball team opened the 2014 campaign with a doubleheader split at Anne Arundel Community College on Sunday afternoon, taking game one 5-3 and falling in the nightcap, 9-1.
2013 First Team All American
Shelby Belzecky (Parkland) was 2 for 3 with a 2-run homerun and 4 RBI and Ricky Correll (Pleasant Valley) earned her first collegiate victory, striking out 7, as the Spartans opened 2014 with a victory.
