BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Softball team dropped a Region XIX doubleheader to 2nd ranked Brookdale Community College on Saturday, falling 11-1 and 3-1, at Spartan Field.
In game one, errors proved costly as NCC allowed 6 unearned runs in an 11-1 defeat.
Jesi Cericola was 2 for 3 and
Shelby Belzecky had a double and a RBI to pace the Northampton, which was limited to 4 hits.

In game two, defense once again cost the Spartans as pitcher
Rikki Correll allowed just 3 hits, but Northampton committed 6 errors in a 3-1 setback. Correll also managed Northampton's only hit and scored their lone run.

Northampton, now 5-5 overall and 4-2 in Region XIX, travels to 10th ranked Middlesex Community College on Sunday April 6th to face the Colts in a Region XIX doubleheader.
