RANDOLPH, NJ - The Northampton softball team had their 4-game winning streak snapped as Division II County College of Morris swept the Spartans in a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday at the Sullivan Softball Complex.
In game one, the Titans scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to earn a 3-2 victory. 2013 NJCAA All-American
Shelby Belzecky was 2 for 3 and
Hailley Houck was 2 for 2 to lead NCC.

In game two, the Titans rallied again, scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th to take a 3-1 lead. Northampton was able to plate one run in the top of the 7th, but it wasn't enough as Morris claimed the 3-2 victory.
Taryn Zietlow was 2 for 3 with a double to pace Northampton.

NCC, now 9-7 overall (8-2 Region XIX), travels to Atlantic Cape Community College on Saturday April 12th for a Region XIX doubleheader set for 12pm.
