Men's Soccer Falls to Middlesex

EDISON, NJ - Middlesex County College scored early and continued to pressure the Northampton net, tallying six goals, to earn a 6-0 victory in Region XIX soccer action on Thursday afternoon.

The Colts got two goals from Brandon Cherney to pick up their first win of the season and improve to 1-2-1 overall.  "Give Middlesex credit, they jumped on us early and never stopped," remarked Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "they were well organized and did a nice job controlling the ball."

Zach Fuls had 7 saves in goal for Northampton, as the Spartans fell to 1-2-0.

The Spartans return to the pitch on Saturday when they travel to Harrisburg Area Community College for a 1pm matchup.
