Volleyball Improves to 5-0 with Sweep of Bucks County

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team, ranked 8th in the latest NJCAA poll, moved to 5-0 on the season with a sweep (25-10, 25-3, 25-4) of Bucks County Community College on Tuesday night at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.

Jax Babezki had 9 kills, while All-American Emily Koehler recorded 6 kills, 5 digs and 20 aces.  

"I was happy with how the team performed tonight," commented Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "I thought we stayed focus and played our game ... that is going to be critical for us this season."

Sawyer Hoyak added 4 aces and Anona Bauman had 17 assists to pace the Spartans.

The Spartans (5-0 overall / 1-0 Region XIX) return to action on Thursday when they travel to Reeves Gymnasium to face Manor College at 7pm.

Bucks County falls to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in Region XIX.
