Volleyball Still Perfect, Now 16-0 After Tri-Match Sweep

CHESTER, Pa. - The Northampton volleyball team remained perfect, picking up two conference wins on Saturday, defeating Luzerne County Community College and Delaware County Community College in a tri-match held at Widener University.

The Spartans downed Delaware County 25-9, 25-6, 25-8 and earned a forfeit victory over Luzerne, as the Trailblazers were unable to field a team.

Jax Babezki had 12 kills and 2 blocks and Olivia Bobyak recorded 7 kills, 1 dig and 1 block to pace Northampton. Anona Bauman was credited with 23 assists and Heather Kobrzynski had 4 assists and 2 kills.

Northampton, now 16-0 and ranked 5th in the country, will host Division II Lackawanna College on Monday night at the new NCC-Monroe Campus in Tannersville at 7pm.
