Yaguez Earns 90th Career Victory as Spartans Sweep Lehigh Carbon

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton Head Coach Adrian Yaguez earned his 90th career victory on Tuesday evening as Northampton downed Lehigh Carbon, 25-4, 25-5, 25-8 at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.

Anona Bauman recorded 20 assists and 6 aces and the tandem of Jax Babezki (9) and Emily Koehler (8) combined for 17 kills. "I thought we were a little sharper tonight," commented Yaguez, "last night (vs. Lackawanna) I thought we were a little sloppy and not as focused as we need to be ... tonight we played with more of a purpose."

Samantha Bertasavage finished with 2 kills and 2 digs as Northampton improved to 18-0 on the season. NCC travels to Harrisburg on Thursday to face the Hawks in a Region XIX matchup.

Lehigh Carbon falls to 3-7 with the loss.

Yaguez, who in his 4th season as head coach of the Spartan Volleyball program, improved to 90-4 overall during his tenue.
