Volleyball Cruises to 9th Straight Victory

SCRANTON, Pa. - The Northampton volleyball team won their 9th straight match, downing Division II Lackawanna College, 25-11, 25-9, 25-13 on Monday night at the Falcon's Nest.

Jax Babezki had 11 kills and Emily Koehler recorded 8 kills, 9 digs, 2 aces and 1 block as the Spartans remained undefeated.

Olivia Bobyak notched 6 kills, Leah Redline had 5 kills and 7 digs, Sawyer Hoyak registered 6 digs and Anona Bauman had 30 assists and 2 aces to pace Northampton.

"I've really been happy with our depth," commented Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "every one of our players has contributed to our success and with our schedule, the depth will play an important role in us achieving our goals this season."

Northampton, now 9-0 overall, has less than 24 hours to recover as they host EPAC foe Delaware County Community College on Tuesday night at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.

Lackawanna College falls to 4-5 overall.
