Volleyball Dominates Bucks and Lehigh Carbon to Move to 14-3

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton Volleyball made short work of Bucks County Community College and Lehigh Carbon in their tri-match on Saturday, topping Bucks 25-8, 25-9, 25-4 and LCCC 25-1, 25-2, 25-2 at the Arthur L. Scott Center.

In match one vs. Bucks, Bridget Lozier (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley ) had a team-high 12 kills and Jax Babezki (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South ) (7) and Morgan Barnes (Macungie, PA/Salem Christian ) (7) combined for 14 kills, while Anona Bauman (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) registered 28 assists.

In match two vs. Lehigh Carbon, Babezki had 13 kills, Kailee Dube (Milford, PA/Delaware Valley ) recorded 5 kills, Kalli Walling (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) had 11 aces and Megan Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) 9 aces as the Spartans only gave up 5 points total in three sets to the Cougars.

Northampton improves to 14-3 overall, 10-0 in conference and 8-0 in Region XIX.

Bucks falls to 4-7 overall, while LCCC is now 1-9.

The Spartans host EPAC foe Luzerne County Community College on September 29th at 7pm.
