LINCROFT, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues, ranked #1 in the country, sprinted to a 4-0 halftime lead and then cruised to an 8-0 victory over Northampton in Region XIX women's soccer action on Tuesday. 

"Brookdale is very talented," stated Head Coach Scott Cullen, "Coach Miller does a great job with them ... I thought we had some positive moments today and the team played hard for 90 minutes."

Christina Sheetz (Bethlehem, PA /Freedom) recorded 10 saves for Northampton, which travels to Cumberland County College on Saturday.

Brookdale, the two-time defending NJCAA national champions, improved to 2-0-0 on the season, while Northampton fell to 0-2-0.
