BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's soccer team could not muster any offensive production on Tuesday afternoon, falling to EPAC foe Montgomery County Community College 2-0 at Spartan Field.

Judea Cardwell (Easton, PA /Easton ) had 5 shots and Abby Dempsey (Bangor, PA /Faith Christian ) had 3, but the Spartans could not find the back of the net against the defensive-minded Mustangs. "It was a completely different game than the first meeting (5-0 Northampton victory)," commented Head Coach Scott Cullen, "Montgomery made some adjustments and I thought they played very well."

Melissa Schnappauf (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) made 4 saves in goal, as Northampton fell to 4-5-1 overall. 

Montgomery improves to 3-9-0.

The Spartans return to the pitch on Thursday October 13th when they travel to Bucks County Community College for a 3:30pm matchup.
