ROCHESTER, MN - The 6th seeded Northampton women's volleyball team dropped their opening match of the 2017 NJCAA National Tournament, falling to 3rd seeded Central Lakes (MN), 20-25, 19-25, 18-25.
Taylor Womack (Effort, PA/Pocono Mt. East ) led the Spartans with 8 kills,
Katrina Shelly (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield ) had 7 and
Emily Petrat (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom ) 6. Kayla Larson led Central Lakes with 8 kills.
Alysce Molchan (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) recorded 24 assists and
Bridget Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond ) registered 8 digs.
The Spartans will hit the floor again at 4pm EST.
