SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The Northampton softball dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Lehigh Carbon on Thursday afternoon, falling 14-2 in game one and 17-4 in game two at Cougar Park. 

GAME ONE - Lost 14-2
Kailee Dube (Milford, PA/Delaware Valley ) was 1 for 1 with a triple and walk and 2 runs scored, while Samantha Santucci (Springfield, NJ/Jonathan Dayton (NJ)) finished 2 for 2 with a RBI to pace the Spartans. 

Arianna Loebsack (Easton, PA/Easton) had a RBI, her 3rd of the season, to push across Northampton's second run. 

GAME TWO - Lost 17-4
Kailee Dube (Milford, PA/Delaware Valley ) was 2 for 3 with a double, Sarah Sampson (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl) was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI, Arianna Loebsack (Easton, PA/Easton) had a double and a RBI and Sydney Wright (Milford, DE/Sussex Tech (DE)) added a RBI with a 1 for 2 effort at the plate. 

The losses drop Northampton to 0-8 overall, while Lehigh Carbon improves to 13-5. 

The Spartans host NJCAA Division II County College of Morris on Saturday at noon.
