BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's soccer team picked up their 6th win of the season on Tuesday afternoon, downing Lehigh Carbon, 5-0, at Spartan Field.
Hannah Seltzer (Reading, PA /Schuylkill Valley) scored two goals, giving her 33 for her career, breaking the program record of 31 previously held by Abby Dempsey.
Christine Farrell (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury ) got the scoring started for the Spartans, finding the back of the net just 7 minutes into the game, off an assist from
Angelique Herrera (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl).

Danielle Besser (Long Pond, PA/Pocono Mt. West ) then put the Spartans up 2-0, 15 minutes into the game, with the assist going to Seltzer.
Farrell scored her 2nd of the game, unassisted, with 5 minutes remaining before the half to give Northampton a 3-0 halftime advantage.
Seltzer, then went to work early in the second half, scoring both of her goals in the first 11 minutes, with Besser recording the assist on the second goal.
Zulemy Rosario (Allentown, PA /William Allen ) made 11 saves in recording her first career shutout.
The Spartans improve to 6-2-0 overall, 5-1-0 in Region XIX and 5-0-0 in the EPAC.
Lehigh Carbon falls to 4-4-0 overall, 3-4-0 in Region XIX and 3-4-0 in conference play.
Northampton is now off until October 8th when they are set to travel to Bucks County Community College.
