BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Owens Community College advanced to the NJCAA Women's Basketball Division III semi-finals with a 93-79 victory over UConn-Avery Point on Thursday afternoon at the Arthur L. Scott Center.

The Express put four players in double-figures as they shot 47% (35/75) from the field for the game.

Moreina Moore led Owens (OH) with 29 points, while Shyah Wheeler recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.  Taylor Works hauled down 21 rebounds, as the Express held a slim 57-53 advantage on the boards. 

Mia Brennan scored 29 points for UCAP, while Rebekah Sanders grabbed a game-high 23 rebounds. 

Owens (24-8) will face #2 North County Community College (NY) at 7pm Friday evening, while UConn-Avery Point (15-14) will take on Passaic County Community College (NJ) at 2pm.
