BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Hibbing Community College defeated Passaic County Community College 83-71 on Saturday afternoon at the Arthur L. Scott Center, to earn 5th place at the 2019 NJCAA National Tournament.

The Cardinals knocked down 12 3-pointers and held Passaic to 32% shooting from the floor to pick up their second victory at the national tournament. 

Shauna Kavajecz led five Hibbing players in double figures with 20 points, while Sherae' Cherenfant added 15. Kavajecz also had 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the Cardinals. 

Kathy Davis led Passiac (NJ) with 22 points and 15 rebounds, as the Panthers finish the season at 21-7.

Hibbing (MN) finishes the season at 29-3.
