BETHLEHEM, Pa. - North Country Community College (NY) downed Western Technical College, 72-68, on Saturday evening to finish in 3rd place at the 2019 NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.

Jasmine Cruse scored 24 points and Kayla Carder added 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Saints, who finished the season with a record of 28-3. 

Despite shooting just 38% from the floor, North Country used a 46-32 advantage on the boards to down the Cavaliers. 

Western Tech (WI) was led by Lexy Schmidknecht with 16 points and Krysten Lawver with 13.

The Cavaliers finish the season with a record of 21-7.
