BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Hostos Community College will get the opportunity to defend their national title, as they downed Western Technical College 68-47, to advance to the 2019 NJCAA Division III National Championship game on Saturday evening at 7pm. 

The Caimans jumped out to a 36-15 halftime lead and used a 66-39 rebounding advantage to control the game.

Hostos had four players in double figures, led by Kayla Wilson with 20 points and 13 rebounds and Apilyn Bonny added 13 as the Caimans improved to 27-5 on the season. 

Western Tech was led by Kerrigan Lyga with 18 points and Caitlin Young with 12. 

The Cavaliers will now play in the 3rd place game on Saturday at 5pm.
