LINCROFT, NJ - The Northampton women's soccer team dropped their first Region XIX match of the season on Saturday, falling 9-0 to 7th ranked Brookdale Community College. 

The Jersey Blues took an early 5-0 lead and then cruised to victory. 

Northampton sophomore goaltender Montana Cassaro (Bangor, PA /Bangor ) suffered an injury early in the contest, forcing her out of the goal, where she was replaced by Zulemy Rosario (Allentown, PA /William Allen ).

The loss drops Northampton to 5-2-0 overall and 4-1-0 in Region XIX. 

The Jersey Blues improve to 4-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in Region XIX.

The Spartans return to conference play on Tuesday when they host Lehigh Carbon Community College (3-3-0) at 3:30pm.
