BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 68-36 victory over Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday afternoon at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
Katie Schickling scored 12 points
Alyssa Gibson added 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Spartan attack.
"We played better defense today then we did on Thursday night," remarked Head Coach
Art Wolfe, "but I am still not pleased with our second half intensity ... we really need to sustain our focus for 40 minutes."
Kaila Foster added 10 points for NCC.
The loss drops TC3 to 1-2 on the season. Becca Holton paced the Panthers with 14 points.
Northampton returns to the hardwood on November 13th when they travel to Luzerne County Community College to open Region XIX play.
