ROCHESTER, MN - After a tough opening round loss in the national tournament to 2nd seeded Brookhaven College, the Spartans dropped their consolation bracket match-up vs. Central Lakes (MN) 23-25, 19-25 23-25. 

"I thought we competed a little better this match," remarked veteran Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "we still made too many mistakes, but I'm proud of how they competed."

Jax Babezki (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South ) had 13 kills, Anona Bauman (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) recorded 26 assists, Megan Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) had 17 digs and Kalli Walling (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) finished with 13 digs and 3 aces. 

The Spartans, now 0-2, will face Nassau Community College (NY) on Saturday at 11:00am in the 7th / 8th place match-up. 

Rochester Community and Technical College will face Brookhaven in the national title match.
