Walling Leads Volleyball to Sweep of Bucks County

NEWTOWN, Pa. - Freshman Kalli Walling (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) recorded 9 aces and 5 digs to help lead the Northampton Volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-12, 25-3, 25-7) victory over Bucks County Community College on Tuesday evening at Rice Arena.

Morgan Barnes (Macungie, PA/Salem Christian ) and and Bridget Lozier (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley ) each had 10 kills, Hannah Park (Snow Shoe, PA/Bald Eagle ) added 5 aces and 2 digs, Jax Babezki (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South ) notched 7 kills and Anona Bauman (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) recorded 24 aces as the Spartans remained perfect in Region XIX.

"Good effort tonight," remarked Head Coach Adrian Yaguez, "I thought our defense was solid tonight, we only gave up 22 points total ... we did a good job covering the floor and limiting Bucks' opportunities."

Northampton improves to 11-3 overall, 6-0 in Region XIX and 7-0 in the EPAC.

Bucks County falls to 4-5 overall, 3-4 in Region XIX and 2-3 in EPAC.

Northampton travels to Scranton, PA on Thursday to face Division II Lackawanna College at 7pm.
