BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Women's Tennis and Softball standout Mackenzie Caffrey (Easton, PA /Pleasant Valley) was recently honored as the recipient of the William F. Bearse Scholar-Athlete Award, during Northampton's student-athlete celebration. The award is given annually to the top male and female student-athlete that demonstrate athletic prowess and academic achievement.

A graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, Caffrey helped lead the Women's Tennis team to a 3rd place finish in Region XIX and as a two-year starter for the Softball team, was a major contributer in Northampton's return to the playoffs this season and 12-8 region record.
