Hall of Fame
The 2005, 2006 and 2007 Northampton softball teams established a record that will most likely never be surpassed, winning 94 consecutive games over a span of three seasons, including back-to-back EPCC and PCAA championships in 2005 and 2006.
Â
Leading this group was head Coach Sam Carrodo, who amassed a career record of 307-63 during his 13 year career with the Spartans (1998-2010).
Â
During their impressive streak, the Spartans batted .497 and recorded 41 shutouts. The team was so dominant they outscored their opponents by over 800 runs (973 to 136), with individual offensive and pitching statistics that litter the pages of the ncc record book.
Â
The Spartans lost on April 24th, 2004 and did not lose again until April 19th, 2007, dropping the second game of a doubleheader to Penn College. In between those dates, the Spartans finished:
      2005      40-0
      2006      38-0
      2007      16-0 (before loss)
      Total    94-0
