A former standout basketball player at Freedom High School, Ralph Padilla etched his name in the record books at Northampton during his two-year career for the Spartans. 

A two-time team captain for Head Coach Kevin Foley, Padilla helped guide the Spartans to the Region XIX Final Four during the 2010-11 season, as they finished with a 21-9 record, losing to Ocean County College in the semi-finals.  Padilla earned 2nd Team All Region Honors during his sophomore campaign in 2011-12, averaging 19.6ppg.

A relentless worker and tremendous leader, Padilla ranks 10th all-time in scoring at Northampton with 854 points, including the 3rd highest single game Scoring total in Spartan history (38) and ranks 5th all-time in career assists and steals and 7th in rebounding.

Padilla was chosen as the 2012 Charles H. Groman Award winner and is currently a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
