Hall of Fame
A three sport standout in Basketball, Volleyball and Softball during her time at Northampton, Mari Mulitsch still holds the Spartan record in Women’s Basketball for points in a game (43) which she set vs Bucks County Community College in December of 1990. Mari also still ranks 3rd all-time in scoring at Northampton with 866 points – good for a career average of 19.7 ppg.

Mari was well respected for her efforts as a student-athlete, earning the Alumni Association’s Female Athlete of the Year Award in 1990-91. Mari was named all-conference, all-tournament and all-state in basketball following the 1990-91 season and was a two-time all-conference selection in softball.

Mulitsch had the privilege of playing for two Northampton Hall of Fame coaches; Art Wolfe (Women’s Basketball, 1990-91) and Kathy Carbone (Softball, 1990, 1991) during her time as a Spartan, leading the softball team to 19-5 and 19-4 finishes in 1990 and 1991 respectively.

For the past 16 years, Mari has been employed as a purchasing planning manager at James Alexander Corporation in Blairstown, NJ, while also serving as a Certified Yoga Instructor and as an assistant coach in the Nazareth Community League.
