Hall of Fame
A standout basketball player for Hall of Fame coach Art Wolfe, Ashley Capozzolo graduated from Northampton as the all-time leading scorer in program history and the career leader in 3-point field goals. Six years later, Ashley’s name remains etched in the Spartan record books as she currently ranks 2nd in scoring with 877 career points and 2nd in career 3-pointers with 139.

Capozzolo averaged 16.5ppg during her career, which saw the Spartans capture two EPCC championships and a PCAA title in 2007-08. Capozzolo’s teams combined to go 44-9 during her career as she earned all-conference and all-state accolades.

Capozzolo was the model of consistency during her Northampton career, scoring 460 points (16.4ppg) and hitting 69 3-pointers during the 2006-07 season and following that up with 417 points (16.7ppg) and 70 3-pointers during her sophomore campaign.

A General Studies major during her time at Northampton, Capozzolo moved on to East Stroudsburg University where she earned her Degree in American and World History.

The daughter of Sally Karlsmark and Gregory Capozzolo, Ashley currently resides in Bangor.Â
