A standout student-athlete for the Spartans, excelling in both softball and volleyball, Nicole (Jenson) Morton’s mark is profoundly etched in the history of Northampton Athletics.

A record-setting pitcher on the Northampton softball teams of 2005 and 2006, Jenson finished her career with an unbelievable record of 48 wins and no losses, striking out an astounding 235 batters.  Jenson led her teams to unprecedented success, as the Spartans went 78-0 during her career, including back to back EPCC and PCAA titles.  Jenson was a two-time all-conference, all-tournament and all-state selection, earning EPCC tournament MVP honors both years.

Jenson was also a force on the volleyball court, earning all-conference, all-tournament and all-state honors in 2004 and 2005.  The Spartans went 35-9, finishing as EPCC runners-up both seasons.

Jenson was a two-time recipient of the Northampton Female Athlete of the Year Award (2004-05 and 2005-06), and was named the female winner of the Northampton Academic Excellence Award in 2004-05.

Inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during her time at Northampton, Jenson graduated with honors before pursuing her career in cosmetology.  She and her husband Christopher reside in Bethlehem.
