Art Wolfe's name is synonymous with Northampton women's basketball.  During his 25 year career on the Spartans bench, Art won 462 games, which account for more than 75% of the victories in the history of Northampton women's basketball history. Wolfe, who retired following the 2015 campaign, finished with an overall record of 462-179 (72%), including a 120-45 mark during his six year tenure in the NJCAA.

Coach Wolfe captured nine Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) championships, five Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association titles, three Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) championships, a Region XIX championship and earned a 6th place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament in 2012, during his illustrious career.

A mentor to hundreds of student-athletes during his career, Coach Wolfe won numerous awards and accolades during his tenure at Northampton, including the 2012 Region XIX Coach of the Year Award and the NJCAA District Coach of the Year Award. 

A lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, Coach Wolfe and his wife Joan, have two daughters, Jane Lewis and Jill Meitzler and five grandchildren.
