One of the best rebounders in Spartan Basketball history, Wayne Stewart led the men's basketball team to 20-12 record and 4th place finish in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference during the 1990-91 season. Wayne played a major part in the team's success, shooting 68.4% from the floor, while scoring 496 points.

Wayne was honored by the league coaches as an EPCC All-Conference and All-Tournament selection, following the 1990-91 campaign. In addition, Wayne was named to the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Conference (PCAA) All-State 1st team.

The Spartans finished the 1991-92 season with an 18-10 record, highlighted by the fact that Wayne became the leading rebounder in Spartan history with 679 total rebounds, eclipsing Joe Keglovits by 72 rebounds.
