Head Coach of the Spartan Tennis program from 1978 to 2013, Jack Master coached 30 individual state champions.  Eight of his teams finished undefeated and he was named Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year an astounding ten times during his career.

Coach Master's fondest memories of his tenure at NCC include Betty Krupka capturing the first State Championship for Northampton and the Larry Melley story.  Larry competed for Coach Master at 78 and 80 years old, taking a year off fo bypass surgery.

Coach Master retired as the head of the history department at Shawnee Intermediate School, Easton, in 2002.  At Easton, Coach Master also coached cross country and created the peer mediation program to help students solve student conflicts among themselves.

Coach Master and his wife Winona have two children, daughter Lauren and son Michael.
