Megan Sell - Team Tennis (2007-09) / Women's Tennis Head Coach (2013-2020)
Finding success as a player and a coach, Megan Sell spent 10 years with Northampton. During her playing years, Megan was able to win two singles state titles and a doubles state title with Ashley Bennett in 2009. In that same year, the Spartans were runners-up in the PCAA team championships. Her excellence was recognized as she was named Northampton's Outstanding Female Athlete in 2009.
After Northampton, Megan took her skills to NCAA Division II Kutztown University to continue her academic and athletic career. After competing for two years, Megan received her degree in Education. She then found herself back at Northampton in 2013 as the head coach of the women's tennis team.
In 7 years of coaching, Megan led the Spartans to 5 NJCAA national tournament appearances, 2 Runner-up finishes in Region 19 and a Region 19 title in 2019. The Spartans also finished as the NJCAA National Runner-up in 2019, and Megan was named Region 19 Coach of the Year.
Megan mentored 7 NJCAA All-Americans during her time at Northampton, including Viktoria Swanson who earned the prestigious NJCAA Sportsmanship Award in 2019.
Daughter of Donna and Ken Groh, she is employed as a first grade teacher at Lower Nazareth elementary school. She has also recently completed her Master's Degree and Reading Specialist certification.
