Amherst College Athletics

A dual-sport athlete during his tenure at Northampton Community College, Michael DeMasi, was a stand-out player in baseball and basketball from 1982-84.
 
Captain of both teams during his career at Northampton, DeMasi was awarded both the Charles H. Groman Award and the Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year Award following the 1983-84 season. 
 
After graduating from Northampton with an associate’s degree in business administration, DeMasi continued his involvement in sports, coaching numerous youth teams, including serving as the Commissioner of Upper Nazareth Softball and currently presiding as the President of the Eastern Lehigh Valley Softball League.
 
Owner and President of VS Eyewear in Bangor, Pa, DeMasi is a member of the American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame.
 
DeMasi, and his wife Barb, are the proud parents of two daughters: Tara and Jordan.
